Enclave builds network security hardware and the operating system that runs on it, consolidating the tools a network team relies on into a single system. As Founding Designer, I lead product design end to end in close partnership with engineering, and I set the company’s creative direction.

Network operators work across many tools, each with its own screens and alerts. The console needed to show the state of every device at a glance without adding noise, and give operators the evidence to act with confidence.

I also set Enclave’s creative direction, creating the brand identity, logo system, guidelines and marketing website so every touchpoint tells one consistent story.

The mark is built from the company’s initials: the three arms of the E and the i, turned on their side and sheared to 56.31°. In motion, dots gather against each bar like traffic held outside the network, then clear. I kept the animation precise and scan-like, because this audience reads soft or sparkly motion as decoration rather than security.

The palette is dark-first for long hours on screen, with a copper metallic drawn from the copper cabling that network infrastructure runs on.

I defined the core workflows for configuring changes, monitoring activity and responding to threats, shaping a console that stays quiet when the network is calm and surfaces evidence when something needs attention. Its UI design system is the foundation engineering builds from.
